About Us

All of our artists are more than just performers — we’re lifelong friends. We first trained together at the Baba Watoto School of Performing Arts in Tanzania, where we discovered our passion for acrobatics, music, and cultural expression. From there, we traveled across the world, performing with renowned companies and sharing our artistry with global audiences. After years of touring separately, destiny brought us back together in the United States — where we reunited and formed Swahili African Acrobats. Our journey is rooted in friendship, culture, and a shared dream: to showcase the beauty of African acrobatics while inspiring and entertaining audiences everywhere.

Our Mission

Our mission is to share the beauty of African acrobatics and culture with the world, inspiring audiences through strength, rhythm, and artistry. We aim to entertain, educate, and connect communities by blending breathtaking performances with authentic cultural traditions. Through our shows and workshops, we hope to inspire the next generation, celebrate African heritage, and bring people together through the universal language of art and movement.

Cultural Element

What makes Swahili African Acrobats unique is our ability to blend world-class acrobatics with authentic African culture. Our shows feature traditional tribal rhythms, live drumming, and colorful costumes inspired by East African heritage, bringing audiences an experience that is both thrilling and culturally rich. Beyond the stunts, we share stories of African community, friendship, and resilience, creating performances that are not only entertaining but also meaningful. Every act — from human pyramids to balancing bowls — is infused with energy, tradition, and artistry that connects audiences to the spirit of Africa.
